Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has been accused of sexual assault by a woman he says he had two consensual sexual encounters with. He admitted the sex was rough and provided alleged text message exchanges between the two supporting his story.
An investigation has been opened and Major League Baseball has announced on Friday that they have placed Bauer on a seven day administrative leave.
Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has been placed on seven-day administrative leave by Major League Baseball in the wake of allegations he sexually assaulted a woman.
Police continue to investigate the allegations, which Bauer denies.

These things can go in a lot of different directions very quickly. One side claims assault and the other side claims everything was consensual. Unfortunately the investigations can take some time to get to the bottom of.
