There's a viral picture that was trending on Twitter last night because it was apparently taken out of context and the internet ran with it, you know a game of broken telephone that you'd expect from the internet, which is really what the internet should be about, fun, but instead it's unfortuantely so uptight and serious! Bummer.
The picture is of Magic Johnson, who is one of the most notorious HIV patients who unlike the millions of people who died from the virus, went onto become a multi-billionaire. Whether that's just a series of coincidences, maybe his lifestyle shifted and he focused on health and wellness, he was a star athlete, maybe he had access to information or treatments others didn't have, maybe it's just how the stars aligned for him, I don't know!
I just know that a meme of him went viral claims he was donating blood, which was a shocker to those who think HIV is a death sentence, after many people contracting it due to blood transfusions in the 80s.
I don't know much about modern science, or modern medicine, but as a simple minded normie, I would think the world's most famous HIV patient, even if the HIV is undetectable, donating blood would be a crazy thing.
So Magic has cleared the air with a little "I have never donated blood".

Is that good news? I don't know, but this is the original meme, or variation of the original meme! The internet is a sick place and we love it.
