Lindsey Vonn, the skiing icon who hung up her skis in 2019, is back in action at 40 years old!
After a knee replacement surgery that worked wonders, she’s rejoined the U.S. Ski Team with hopes of returning to competitive racing.
Vonn has already hit the slopes for race training and is targeting World Cup events, possibly leading to her fifth Olympics in 2026.
Lindsey announced this week she will be coming out of retirement to rejoin the U.S. Ski Team for the 2024-25 season, six years after her most recent Olympics.
The ski legend shared a video on Instagram showing her taking off down a slope and captioning the post with: "Well, it's off to Colorado... I hope the @usskiteam uniform still fits… #onedayatatime."
