Lindsey Vonn Lifting Weights!

Tex Hollywood - December 2, 2024

Lindsey Vonn is back on the slopes where she belongs! She's one of the most famous skiers in American history and she's been a victim to many injuries throughout her career, thanks to pushing the sport forward as a fearless speed demon.

She seems to be in a good place after surgeries and training in the gym and on the hill. She seems to be back to racing, which probably makes her longterm sponsors very happy.

We have no expectations that Vonn will ever be in the World Cup again, or the Olympics, but she gets to participate in her sport and whatever level it is she's participating at while taking us along for the ride.

She posted a very uplifting thanksgiving message, other than the fact that her poor dog is battling cancer, and athletes are driven people who are worth listening to when it comes to uplifting life advice and inspiration, because they don't give up, they keep on trying and it is something the non-athletes should try!

I’m thankful for my family, friends and team for supporting me and believing in me.

I’m thankful for my health, to not be in pain every day and to be able to ski fast again. (Thank you Dr. Roche and Dr Hackett!)

I’m thankful for my dogs, especially my boy Leo who is crushing cancer right now. (Don’t tell the other 2 but Leo my favorite!)

But mostly, I’m thankful for the opportunity. Every day is a chance to live my life to the fullest. All of the early mornings and late nights, all of the hard work and all of the fun; I don’t take anything for granted. I have promised myself and my Mom to never waste a second.

I have NO regrets, and I am grateful for that!

Please enjoy this day and every day with the people you love doing the things you love. You never know where life will take you, so enjoy the present, the future is not guaranteed.

Here she is in the gym lifting.
