The 2020-21 NBA season could start as early as the end of December. That's roughly two and a half months after the Lakers won their phony NBA Disney Bubble title.
If that happens Lakers guard Danny Green expects a lot of his teammates would miss the start of the season, including LeBron James.
Green said during an interview with The Ringer that he wouldn’t expect LeBron to show up for the first month of the season.
"Most guys, if they we start in December, I think they're like, 'I'm not going to be there.'"
"It’s not like we have a bunch of young guys and rookies. Bron has been in the Finals 10 years out of his 17 years. To have that quick of a restart, I wouldn’t expect him to be there. I wouldn’t expect to seen him for the first month of the season."
Lakers guard Danny Green on the proposed Dec. 22 start to next season:

What about the months off from when the league shutdown the season in March to when the bubble got started in mid-June? That has to be factored in.
It's not like the NBA played an extended season. The end of the season was pushed back due to a break of several months.
It would be perfectly LeBron to sit out the first month of the season. He pretty much has done that for the last few seasons anyway.
