LAPD Detonated Truck Filled With Illegal Fireworks and it Didn’t Go as Planned

The LAPD discovered a truck filled with fireworks and decided it was a good idea to detonate them in the middle of the street. It turns out a truck filled with fireworks makes quite an explosion.

That's what you get for destroying fireworks this close to July 4th! That should be a crime itself.

They could have confiscated them and done something other than detonate them in the middle of the street.
