Kyle Schwarber left the Cubs this past off-season and signed with the Nationals.  He left behind some friends in Chicago as well.

One of those friends, former teammate Kris Bryant, left Schwarber some candy in the outfield during Monday night's game.

Schwarber was asked about his haul of candy after the 7-3 loss to the Cubs.  He admitted that Bryant had left him some candy.

The Nats left fielder also admitted that had eaten a Twix on the field prior to getting a hit.

I don't know if the Nationals want Kyle eating a ton of candy during games.  He's already struggling to hit his current weight.

I know the nerds who are ruining the game don't care about batting average, but I still do.
