Prior to Wednesday night's NBA Draft it was reported that Klay Thompson had suffered a lower leg injury to his right leg during a workout.  Details of the injury slowly came out as the night went on.

Included in those details was the type of workout and the injury the Warriors guard is believed to have suffered.  It turns out the workout was a pickup game against current and former NBA players.

The injury is feared to be a significant Achilles injury.  Thompson already missed this entire season last year with a torn ACL in his left knee.

There are a lot of interesting things about this.  On top of the list is there was a gym open in Los Angeles for NBA players to play pickup games.

You would think California's love of the lockdown would prevent pickup basketball games.  The NBA must be an essential business.

Obviously if Thompson suffered another major injury and has to miss more time that's going to be a big loss for Golden State.
