Kings defenseman Sean Walker took a puck to the face during Los Angeles' game on Thursday night against the Wild. It was a slapshot from Minnesota's Matt Dumba that dropped immediately.
Walker was bleeding profusely as he left the ice. He received immediate medical attention to stop the bleeding and stitch up his wound.
A postgame picture of Walker's face is the reason I don't play hockey. Well that and the fact I can't ice skate at all and have no desire to have my face rearranged by a puck.
