In more sad news, Hoonigan Racing announced that Ken Block has died at 55 in a shocking snowmobile accident.
The announcement read:
“Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed. Please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”
Obviously, Ken Block and team do not snowmobile the same way an old timer does, based on his video on his IG a few days ago, they had some epic plans in the works.
Here's a clip of some of the snowmobiling they do:
Apparently the accident happened when he was riding down a slope in Utah, the snowmobile somehow lost control and ended up on top of Block. He was riding with a group, but was alone when the accident happened.
Block was one of the co-founders of DC Shoes back in 1994, he became a rally driver in 1995. He was also known to millions of people with his epic Youtube content, where he would do all kinds of driving stunts. He was basically a legend who definitely lived life to the fullest. Definitely a huge loss for the community.
