Kelly Stafford Apologized for Throwing a Pretzel at a Fan During Rams Loss to the 49ers

Matthew Stafford had a rough night on Monday night against the 49ers.  He threw two interceptions in the 31-10 loss.  It was Los Angeles' second straight loss after starting the season 7-1.

Matthew wasn't the only one in his family who had a rough night.  His wife Kelly was involved in a situation with a shit talking fan.  A pretzel was thrown and security had to relocate the Stafford's cheering section.

From TMZ Sports:

According to one witness, Kelly snapped ... kicking off an altercation by hurling a soft pretzel at the man.

The witness tells us Levi's Stadium security eventually stepped in ... and escorted Kelly and her crew away from the area to other seats in the venue.

After the game -- one in which the Rams lost, 31-10 -- when a fan called out Stafford's wife for not diffusing the situation and letting things go ... Kelly issued a mea culpa.

We all need a ride or die like Kelly.  This isn't the first time she's defended her man and it won't be the last.  I don't know about you, but if someone was talking shit about me, my wife would probably join in on the shit talk about me.  She sure as shit isn't throwing a pretzel at the shit talker.

I love the move by Kelly, there's nothing to be embarrassed about (except for the loss to the Niners) and certainly nothing to apologize for.  Talk shit about Matthew Stafford to Kelly Stafford and a pretzel might be tossed in your direction.  Seems like an appropriate response to me.
