In the event you didn't know, the NFL is now the Taylor Swift side project, where she attends and millions of people follow.
In this era of people hating TV, not watching TV, where networks are scrambling to find meaningful live events that tap into the minds of the internet hive, they appear to have figured out the magic formula.
A network must create an event that is the cover story of the day. It must be the main character of the internet for the day and everyone will tune in.
That takes some strategy, some influence, some marketing budget but it can be done and it was done this past Super Bowl.
Thanks to the integration of Taylor Swift, they had the highest viewership in the history of TV besides the moon landing when people only had one channel. Kubrick would be proud.
Something like 125 million people tuned into the Super Bowl, all thanks to marketing hype and strategic tactics called Taylor Swift.
So here she is kissing Kelce at the after party, a job well done, they've mastered the manipulation of the internet hive mind and they are main page news.
I find it all boring, but maybe I'm not in the hive mind!
