Joy Behar Makes a “Penetration in the End Zone” Joke About First Active Gay NFL Player

On Monday Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib became the first active gay player in the NFL.  Players from around the league showed their support, as did the NFL.

This morning on "The View" host Joy Behar, who I'm told is a comedian, told a joke that ruffled a few feathers.

"After they said penetration in the end zone, they lost me!"

Behar, of course, had to later apologize for the joke.  As far as jokes goes, it's middle school playground level joke, you would think a comedian would come up with something a little funnier.

That said, it is an attempt at a joke, she wasn't going out of her way to hurt anyone's feelings.  Although something tells me if someone else had made a similar joke the women at "The View" would have had some thoughts.
