The Los Angeles Angeles fired manager Joe Maddon in the middle of a 14-game losing streak.  During Sunday Night Baseball it was revealed that he had a plan to end the losing streak and it involved a haircut.

Maddon got a mohawk to surprise his team and to help end the losing streak.  Unfortunately for Maddon he never got to show the team, he was fired before doing his big reveal.

Here's ESPN's Tim Kurkjian reporting on Maddon's mohawk:

Instead of getting to do his worn out shtick Maddon was an unemployed 68-year-old man with a mohawk.  There isn't enough Mike Trouts and Shohei Ohtanis in the world that could have saved his job.  Turns out he's not really a good manager.
