Jets fans have fully embraced "Tank for Trevor." That was on full display on Sunday when they lost to the Raiders on a 46-yard Derek Carr to Henry Ruggs touchdown pass with just five seconds left in the game.
A house full of Jets fans celebrated the last second loss like the Jets had just won the Super Bowl. In reality their team dropped to 0-12 and managed to lose the game on a questionable defensive call by coordinator Gregg Williams.

The Jets organization apparently isn't as thrilled about the loss as their fan base is. On Monday they fired their defensive coordinator for bringing the house on the last second Raiders touchdown.
Jets fired DC Gregg Williams, per source.

This makes no sense. You're a terrible team. Winning Sunday's game doesn't help you at all. Firing Gregg Williams at 0-12 doesn't do anything either.
This just shows you how much of a shitshow the Jets organization really is. They can't even tank for the No. 1 overall pick properly.
