Jerry Rice Takes a Shot at Randy Moss for Naming Himself the GOAT

There aren't many people who would argue that Jerry Rice isn't the greatest wide receiver of all-time.  But there are some, including one of the best to ever do it Randy Moss.

Moss said recently that he is the GOAT, not Rice.  If he would have stopped there his comments might have been taken a little more seriously.

But Moss took the disrespect a step further and said Rice wasn't even the second best wide receiver of all-time.

From Larry Brown Sports:

“I’ll put myself first, I’ll put T.O. second. Jerry’s probably third or fourth. I’m talking about dominating the game and changing the game of football. I don’t live on statistics because if you live on statistics and live on championships that’s all political. You’ve seen guys released or cut from a team just by a couple words in the media. You’ve seen guys not given contracts just because of the color of their skin. You’ve got to throw politics out of the game of football, and look at the impact of what each individual was able to make in the game of football,” Moss said.

It's an absolutely absurd thing to say and if Moss truly does believe that then we can't trust anything he ever says again.

Rice, the actual GOAT, caught wind of the disrespect and responded by dunking all over Moss on Instagram.  The post has since been deleted, but the point has been made.

Moss was a great receiver, but anyone who agrees that he's the GOAT and not Rice is 100% troling.  Jerry Rice is the greatest wide receiver of all-time.  Right now that's not even debatable.
