As you may or may not know, the world is obsessed with race and racism and it all happened at a time when most people were probably the least racist they ever were.
With mixes of cultures blending families, schools blending cultures, neighborhoods and communities mixing it up with a variety of cultures, cities, states, countries as a whole being melting pots of different cultures, you'd think that the 1950s was far behind us.
However, it is not, racism is here to stay, whether it's a political conversation or something people feel they live and struggle with, it isn't going anywhere.
We can't just put it behind us and move on in a way that we should, clearly we are wired to have issue with race, but in a fantasy world, it'd be great if we could all just be shitty HUMANS on this same damn planet trying to pay our damn rent and survive, regardless of our backgrounds.
To add fuel to the fire, or the conversation, a picture of a 14 year old Jerry Jones, back in 1957 was captured in photo amongst a bunch of white folk trying to prevent the black students from desegregating, because racism was rampant in 1957.
The photo was released as part of a Washington Post piece on the controversial Cowboys owner.
ESPN host Jemele Hill weighed in on the photo on Elon Musk's Twitter and she said:
"Guessing Jerry Jones isn’t the only NFL owner who has something like this in his past. The wild part is the expectation that Black people are just supposed to naively trust that white people who were once eager participants in the dark parts of history magically have evolved."
She's right, he clearly does have some skeletons in his closet, which is a reminder to everyone, don't let people take pictures of you doing dumb, racist, sexist, cancel-able shit your future-self would like to pretend NEVER happened. You can't deny til you die if there's photos of it.
Here's the tweet and photo:

Something dark to think about when rooting for the Cowboys on today's game against the Giants! Is Jerry Jones just a racist using black athletes to increase his wealth like a modern plantation owner? Something to think about on this glorious Thanksgivng Day.
