A move from Los Angeles to Detroit isn't exactly ideal.  Don't tell new Lions quarterback Jared Goff that.  He's excited about the move and the opportunity to play for a team that wants and appreciates him.

After being sent packing by the Rams, Goff had a few things to get off his chest.  That includes the assumption that Troy Aikman's constant bashing of him was due to head coach Sean McVay's less than flattering words about him in production meetings.

From NFL.com:

"I'm just excited to be somewhere that I know wants me and appreciates me," Goff told NFL.com on Sunday morning. "I'm moving forward and couldn't be more excited to build a winner there. I'm excited about Dan (Campbell) and the whole staff."

It's quite a ride from a Super Bowl appearance a couple of years ago to a struggling Lions franchise.  I'm rooting for him and his relationship with his model girlfriend.
