Bengals first-round draft pick Ja'Marr Chase had a terrible preseason. The former LSU wide receiver had four drops on five targets. His problems catching the football were also seen on the practice field.

On Monday Chase acknowledged his preseason issues. He did the whole I need to get better thing and that let's you know it's up in his head.
From Larry Brown Sports:
“I know I left a lot of stuff out there,” Chase said, via Ben Baby of ESPN. “But that’s all in time for me to get better, of course. I’m not afraid to get better. That’s what I’m here for — to work, to get better, make the team better, make the organization better.”
Not being able to catch a football as a guy who gets paid to catch a football might cause some problems. We're about to find out when the reps count for real. I wonder if his off the field issues are playing a role in his case of the dropsies.
