Ja Morant Suspended for 25 Games!

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is suspended for 25 games after another social media video of him garnishing a weapon for the second time, which is apparently against NBA rules.

I recently came across an article about how he does a daily mantra with his mom about being a billionaire by 30, which may put his recent issues into perspective, seeing as he's clearly the family's trophy and answer to all their problems, which probably puts some pressure on him.

You'd think the star player is on a self-sacrifice, self destruction path, because the first time around, when he pulled out a gun at a Colorado Strip Club, he got suspended for 8 games, only to do it all over again 2 months later.

The suspension will cost Morant 12 million in salary and there is no guarantee they'll let him back in if he doesn't meet certain conditions.

What an idiot.

His response to the suspension:

"I've had time to reflect and I realize how much hurt I've caused. I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates and the city of Memphis."

"To the kids who look up to me, I'm sorry for failing you as a role model. I promise I'm going to be better."

"I hope you'll give me the chance to prove to you over time I'm a better man than what I've been showing you."

Will Morant get it together, or will he end up doing more dumb shit between now and December?
