For those of you who follow MLS, which I am sure is enough of you, since soccer is the world's sport. Lionel Messi turned down what was rumored to be a billion dollar contract in Saudi Arabia, similar to what Ronaldo recently landed.
The rumor is he chose to not go for it because his wife didn't want to live in Saudi Arabia, which could be true since there have been reports that Ronaldo's girlfriend may be deported or arrested for her social media content, like her infamous viral twerk we posted. They are also already rich and the biggest name in sport, so why not Miami.
To the simple mind, you may wonder how a woman could come between an already rich man and an additional tax free billion dollars, especially when he could find new women with said billion dollars, the answer is true love is real and there is nothing more important than family.
What is true is that the World Cup champion and icon in the sport signed to Miami's team, which probably had a huge following to begin with thanks to all the international, South American, soccer fans who live there, but the official instagram for the team gained 4,000,000 followers in 24 hours.
They are saying tickets to Inter Miami are the new ticket to Taylor Swift, because before yesterday they went for 30 dollars, now they are over 400 dollars, and probably scaling even higher.
With the additional 4 million followers, Inter Miami is officially the most followed sports team in the world. Crazy star power.

Definitely not. Seems like a waste of time to me!
