Rookie quarterback Ian Book was forced into action on Monday night against the Dolphins because several Saints players including the top two quarterbacks on the roster tested positive for COVID-19.
His first NFL start didn't go as planned, but it ended in the same way the previous 23 starts by a Notre Dame quarterback did. With a loss.
That's right, with Book's loss on Monday night Notre Dame quarterbacks have now lost 24 straight starts in the NFL. The majority of those losses belong to DeShone Kizer.

What a stat. If you don't think there are NFL coaches who are going to not draft a Notre Dame quarterback because of this then you don't know football coaches. Now that it's out there it might be on Book to end the streak.
