Hooters Has Updated Their Uniform Policy After Complaints About New Skimpy Bottoms

Hooters recently decided to update their uniforms.  Strange right?  Why mess with something that seems to already be perfect?  Free publicity.

Probably.

How else do you explain coming out with an updated uniform that turns shorts into pretty much panties?  They had to expect pushback and that's exactly what they got.

After the "backlash" or free publicity, Hooters updated their uniform policy to allow Hooters Girls to decide which bottoms they want to wear.  They actually released a statement to Business Insider.

From Business Insider:

According to a spokesperson for Hooters of America, staffers will now be permitted to choose between the new shorts — which some have described as so skimpy they're "like underwear" — and the original longer shorts.

"As we continue to listen and update the image of the Hooters Girls, we are clarifying that they have the option to choose from traditional uniforms or the new ones," the spokesperson wrote in an email to Insider. "They can determine which style of shorts best fits their body style and personal image."

Great job Hooters, you tricked everyone into talking about you.  Including me, although to be honest I was just looking for an excuse to talk more about Hooter, big Gianna Tulio guy here.  You know Miss Hooters 2021!
