Rob Gronkowski spent the last two seasons in Tampa Bay with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. Right now he's a free agent and he hasn't made up his mind on his NFL future just yet.
Gronk sat down with TMZ Sports to discuss his future. While he hasn't ruled out a return, it sounds like the future Hall of Famer is leaning towards retirement.
"Right now, I'm not ready to get back out on that field. I'm not ready to commit to the game of football right now."
He said that at a recent charity event he purposely avoided catching passes and would only throw them, because once he starts getting into football he can't stop.
"I knew if I started catching some passes that my head would have started turning, like, 'Oh, crap, I got to get back out on the field.'"
The game of football has been tough on Gronk. You can't blame him for wanting to make sure he really wants to get back into it. It would be tough to walk away from spending time with his model girlfriend to get his ass kicked all day long.
