Golfing legend Greg Norman didn't spend his Christmas celebrating with friends and family this year. He spent the day at the hospital with COVID symptoms.
The 65-year-old went to get tested and to get some relief for his multiple COVID symptoms. Norman shared a few pictures from his Christmas day visit to the emergency room.

Now I'm no expert, but a trip to the hospital without severe complications from COVID seems very unnecessary. Considering that Norman is back home and already feeling better, I would say I'm right.

If you have symptoms that aren't an emergency call your doctor and go get tested. Then assume you have it and stay isolated.
Rushing out to the hospital takes a bed from someone who really needs it. It's called an emergency room for a reason. Simply having COVID symptoms isn't an emergency despite what the news might have you believe.
With that said, I'm glad Norman is feeling better.
