Gracie Hunt, the NFL's darling, who I like to market as every NFL fan's dream girl, mainly because her family founded the Kansas City Chiefs, still own the team, and just won a Super Bowl, meaning not only is she rich, she's also rich because of the fan boy's favorite sport, with access to the top team in the league this year since she owns it. Plus she's hot.
Her grandmother, the matriarch of the family just died the day the team was at the White House, and I guess that's put her in an mindful, introspective state of mind because along with her hot hiking pics in her bright green shorts, she left us with these inspiring words of wisdom:
Peace like a river. Love like an ocean.
When it feels like you’re going through it and life takes a turn in a direction you didn’t want, what brings you comfort? For me, time in nature, my faith, & a close relationship with my family are grounding forces.
Everyone faces loss, disappointment, and the storms of life. Life is unpredictable. Even with the best plans and intentions, we cannot predict what will come our way.
When unexpected times come, we need to be reminded that God is good, in control, and trustworthy even if everything seems out of control.
God’s peace is with us and He knows what happens next. He keeps his word and He is working for our good. Trust Him. Romans 8:28
In this overly demonic time, I think more messages about God is a positive thing, so I am not going to hate on her for that, however, when you're a billionaire with everything you need, no stresses around surviving or eating or being housed, the trials and tribulations faced are superficial, vapid and definitely less worthy than the working class strife and struggle.
So as much as her words are appreciated, her loss, disappointment and storms of life don't leave her homeless, hungry or living in her car. So I don't know how seriously it should be taken, since everything outside of your food, shelter, water essentials is just nonsense noise!
