The New York Giants aren't happy with wide receiver Golden Tate's recent antics. His wife calling the team out didn't seem to help things either.
At practice this week the veteran wore a red scout team pinnie and didn't run routes with the offense. That would seem to indicate that Tate will be benched.
When asked about Tate's status head coach Joe Judge offered up some incoherent nonsense.
From NY Daily News:
“We still have an entire day of practice to go through, so I’ll evaluate everything and make decisions on the back end of what we’re going to do through the weekend,” Judge said of Tate. “I’m gonna discuss a lot of possibilities today after practice.”
The Giants suck and failing to get the ball to Tate is a contributing factor. If they weren't planning to use him then why did they give him $37.5 million with nearly $23 million guaranteed?
Paying Tate a shitload of money to practice with the scout team is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. It's the kind of thing really poorly run franchises do.
