Former University of Houston linebacker Zamar Kirven was arrested over the weekend and charged with murder.  He is being accused of shooting two men in Mart, Texas.

Kirven recorded two tackles during the 2020 season and was sent packing by the football team at end of the year due to violating team rules.

Two people are dead after a shooting at a Mart residence early Sunday morning.

The suspect in the shooting was arrested and charged with capital murder.
