Former NFL tight end Kevin Ware was arrested over the weekend on a warrant for failing to report for bond supervision. He was also wanted for questioning about the disappearance of his girlfriend, 29-year-old Taylor Pomaski.
Pomaski was last seen at a house party in late April.
From KPRC 2:
KPRC 2 Investigates spoke with Eric Zulegar, a former boyfriend of Pomaski’s immediately following Ware’s arrest. Zulegar said he’s been in constant contact with Pomaski’s mother since her disappearance.
When asked if the family views Ware as the only person that has the real answers to the disappearance, Zulegar said, “There could be others that were around the house that night. I’m not for certain, but Kevin knows exactly what happened.”
While the family of Pomaski is glad to see Ware back in jail, Zuleger said on the other hand, “Taylor is still missing. We still need to find Taylor.”
This is obviously not a great story all around. There's a woman missing and a guy who made it to the NFL being questioned. Given this isn't his first run in with the law it's safe to say life after football doesn't always work out.
