Philadelphia fans seem mad at their NHL team, probably made worse with their NFL team making it to the Super Bowl and basically almost bringing home a championship, only to shine on spotlight on their other pro teams.
The Flyers are currently ranked 14th in the Eastern conference, according to google, since I don't watch Hockey and wouldn't know off the top of my head.
They missed the playoffs in 2021, they fired their 5th head coach in 8 years, they traded their captain and the team CEO Dave Scott said he'd invest what was needed to make things right.
Clearly, he didn't make it right, because over a year later, the team isn't performing, fans are mad, even boycotting and protesting the team, trying to demand chance.
Fans are showing up to the game in paper bags, hoping to create a movement, a protest, so that one day, the stands will be filled with paper bags demanding the GM Chuck Fletcher gets fired. Something big enough that they can't ignore.
The team is owned by Comcast Spectacor and we'll see if they make any moves, but in the meantime, it's pretty fun to see some unruly fans demand the support they deserve because without the fans, the team is nothing!
LETS GO BABY! LOVE IT HERE! FLYERS FANS STAY UNDEFEATED! pic.twitter.com/vTLDkE3FOd
