After reportedly being interested in former Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, the Washington Football Team found another veteran quarterback to replace Alex Smith. They signed journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was contemplating retirement.
Fitzpatrick will join Football Team quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen on a one-year, $10 million deal.

The NFL needs FitzMagic and it needs FitzMagic on a new team. This checks both of those boxes. The upcoming NFL season is shaping up to be another very interesting one. Now we just need to get Jameis Winston back on the field throwing a pick six every game and we'll be whole again.
