I've said it before, I'll say it again, since this is the third or fourth Joint Practice Brawl that we've put up, and we're a pretty scaled down sports site because you haven't offered to write for us, but we've still managed to post a bunch of these, meaning a bunch more likely happen, because the concept of Joint Practice is really a viral brawl waiting to happen by design.
Teams are meant to be rivals for a reason, so getting them to play each other when it is not regular season, to hone their skills, or whatever the reason is, is basically an attempt to generate some marketing hype, like the NLF needs it, and to pave the way for in season drama they need to keep the sports fans enticed and engaged on a deep emotional level.
We live in a viral video, meme society of everyone chasing clout and the big guns with the big budgets are not immune to that, if anything, it's easier for them to make it happen.
All these teams can afford to build out practice teams with top level near NFL caliber players, but that won't go viral, joint practice brawls do!
It's all in good fun, for the sport, but you know teams are watching other teams brawl and staging their own for the hype! It's like a TikTok viral challenge, but without the Tide Pods?
Truth be told, the brawls are pretty weak, considering!
