If you thought Evander Kane's divorce from his wife Anna was going to be a quiet affair, you're 100 percent wrong. The Sharks forward was granted a temporary restraining order against his wife after he claimed she punched him on multiple occasions.
This is just the latest in a wild back-and-forth between the two. Anna claimed he cheated on her, kicked his family out of their home via email and bet on his own games. This is his formal response.
From NY Post:
During the first alleged incident of domestic violence, the San Jose Sharks forward said Anna hit him “7-8 times in the face with her fist” following an undisclosed argument, according to the court documents.
Anna also struck the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Evander following two arguments in October 2020 and April 2021, the Canadian-born player said.
Following an argument this July, Evander alleged Anna pushed him and tugged on a bag over his shoulder as he tried to get himself away from her.
During that same incident, Evander also says “Anna dangerously swung around their baby daughter,” TMZ reported.
I've said it before, but I'm going to say it again, what a time to be alive. We've officially entered the huge hockey players getting beat up by their spouses dimension. I never thought we would see the day, but here we are.
