Dua Lipa Pandering to the Texas Longhorns Fans!

You have probably seen this already, it happened last weekend but for some reason the Longhorn fans are still really excited by it.

The viral and mainstream popstar who clearly has a level of relatability otherwise she would not be a pop star that everyone loves, performed at Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas and she put on a Texas Jersey.

That would be like wearing a Bears jersey when performing in Chicago or a Cowboys jersey in Dallas (assuming the locals still love the team with 35 years of losing). It is pandering in the best possible way and clearly it works because days later people are like "Do you remember that time Dua Lipa put on our Jersey, that was better than the time Katy Perry came to town and said that Austin has the best BBQ".

It's manipulation done right, through sports and the fanatics into sport.
