The Broncos have been at the center of a couple of possible trade rumors this off-season. They're reportedly the favorite to land Aaron Rodgers if the Packers do decide to trade him.
They were also mentioned as a team that Deshaun Watson wouldn't mind playing for. The Broncos current quarterback Drew Lock was asked about those rumors and knows the rumors are because of his poor play.
From Broncos reporter Mike Klis:
"It came with the lack of wins last year. If we won 10 games, no one would be talking about it. But due to play from last year, to stop those conversations from happening again, I need to play better this year and that’s where my energy was and that’s where all my focus was and that’s quite honestly why I didn’t think about it is because all my energy and all my time was focused elsewhere this offseason, and that was getting this team better."
The Teddy Bridgewater disrespect continues. Lock doesn't seem to be too worried about the former Vikings/Saints/Panthers quarterback breathing down his neck.
