Logan Paul is a Billionaire marketing expert who understands the basics of social media, and has been able to build a lucrative career with that understanding of the basics of how to game social media.

From Vine Star with too much money, to Youtuber with too much money, to brand owner with too much hype and money, to tax evader in Puerto Rico, to fighter with too much money. Basically, he's got too much money because he knows how this works.

He's also part of the WWE who are also the masters of basic human conflict, good guy vs bad guy, hero vs villain. So clearly putting all his skills together to promote his fight, to make it as big of a thing as possible, is in his DNA.

Building up to the fight, Dillon Danis was targeting Nina Agdal, Paul's fiance. Posting nudes, saying rude things about her, you know trying to hit it where it hurts, leading to restraining orders and every step of the way, the media was there to cover it, to hype up the conflict, to generate hype around the fight to end all fights.
