Getting paid to recover from injuries has to be a better way to make a living than actually taking the field. Just ask wide receiver Devin Funchess. He's been doing that for a couple of seasons now.
Green Bay placed him on season ending injured reserve on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Funchess hasn't played in a regular season game since Week 1 of 2019 with the Colts.
Funchess broke his collarbone in that game and didn't play another game for the Colts. After sitting out last season due to COVID, he won't play in a regular season game for the Packers despite spending two years with the team.
He'll always have his anti-Asian slur during a press conference to remember his time in Green Bay.
