Deshaun Watson Had Conversations With Free Agents About Joining Him in Atlanta

Deshaun Watson ultimately picked the Cleveland Browns as his new team, but he was close to selected the Atlanta Falcons.  So close he had conversations with multiple free agents about joining him in Atlanta.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Watson spoke to free agents Jarvis Landry and Leonard Fournette about playing for the Falcons.  None of them ended up in Atlanta.  Watson picked the Browns, Fournette returned to the Buccaneers and Landry could be returning to the Browns.

Did these conversations not go well?  Did nobody want to join Watson in Atlanta?  Is that what Fowler is hinting at?  Watson did end up, surprisingly, picking the Browns.  Maybe the ATL isn't what it used to be.
