If anyone thought that when Raiders defensive lineman Carl Nassib came out as gay there would be problems in the Las Vegas locker room, they were wrong. First of all why would you thing that? But more importantly his teammates have his back.
Raiders quarterback Derek Carr made that clear when he discussed Nassib coming out on the "The Cris Collinsworth Podcast featuring Richard Sherman."
"He's our brother. So, if you want to mess with him, you have to go through us."
I wouldn't expect anything less in any locker room in the NFL. I think this perception that because a player is gay his teammates won't accept him says more about the person who thinks that than it does about the guys in the NFL.
