DeAndre Hopkins’ Brand Manager Released a Statement About His Failed PED Test

DeAndre Hopkins has been suspended by the NFL for six games after he tested positive for PEDs.  On Monday evening the Cardinals wide receiver's brand manager (whatever the hell that is) released a statement about his failed test.

It's the usual "he didn't knowingly take anything blah, blah blah.  Doug Sanders, this brand manager guy, texted ESPN insider Adam Schefter giving the halfass excuse that nobody ever believes.

You know what they say, once a PED user always a PED user.  That is of course unless you own up to it from the jump.  Everyone usually moves on pretty quickly when you do that.

Hopkins took a different path....
