DAVANTE ADAMS PUSHED A PHOTOGRAPHER AFTER HIS LOSS IN KANSAS and now he's in trouble!
The Raiders had signed one of their veteran Wide Receivers Albert Wilson to their roster in the event they lost Davante Adams to a suspension due to his aggressive shoving of a cameraman, which I thought was a reasonable thing for the team to do as it is highly likely that he will be suspended for being that aggressive to the media there to capture the game for the NFL. It's basically beating up the henchmen for you overlord, henchman needed to capture the content to keep the fans watching, to keep the whole machine working and keeping you getting paid. It was a dumb move, but at least he apologized on Twitter for it!
I also saw that the cameraman pressed charges, which we can all assume is an attempt for an out of court settlement, because when golden opportunities strike or in this case when rich star players strike, you need to seize the day and get paid! But it is also possible that he is hurt, traumatized and out some camera equipment because it was obviously an intentional targeted hit by someone acting like a total monster.
With that, Davante Adams ha been charged with misdemeanor assault according to the Kansas City police sources. Adams has an online court date scheduled for Nov. 10.
According to KCTV5, the Kansas City Municipal Court issued a citation on Wednesday alleging that Adams “did, by an intentional, overt act, inflict bodily injury or cause an unlawful offensive contact upon [the victim] by pushing [him] to the ground using two hands causing whiplash and head ache. possible minor concussion.”
I guess his Twitter Apology doesn't count as a get out of jail free card he probably assumed it did!
