Danny Amendola announced his retirement on Monday night via a tweet from Adam Schefter. The NFL insider managed to make the announcement without saying anything terrible about the veteran wide receiver or posting anything about any past or present girlfriends.
That's quite the accomplishment for Schefter. The 36-year-old called a career despite the fact that multiple teams contacted him this offseason.
Despite multiple teams calling this offseason, two-time Super-Bowl champion WR Danny Amendola has decided to retire from the NFL. “It was better than I could have ever imagined,” Amendola said about his career.

Amendola later posted confirmation that he was retiring with a highlight reel from his career. A career that included two Super Bowl victories with the Patriots.
