On Friday the Raiders announced in a very brief statement that team president Dan Ventrelle was no longer with the team. Here is that brief statement.

After almost 18 years with the team the statement sure made it seem like the departure wasn't on good terms and that there was more to the story than he's no longer with the team. And there is.
According to Ventrelle, he was fired by the Raiders after he informed the NFL of multiple complaints from female employees about owner Mark Davis. Prior to informing the league he brought the complaints up to Davis.
It was after Davis dismissed them and didn't seem to take them seriously that he took it to the NFL for investigation. Ventrelle released a statement telling his side of the story.
Dan Ventrelle said he was fired by Mark Davis in retaliation to concerns he brought up of a hostile work environment within the organization, that were ignored. Then he brought them up to the NFL. He has retained legal council regarding his firing. #vegas #raiders #raidernation pic.twitter.com/jDzzdgmqtl

I'm here for dueling statements. Let's keep these going. We're going to need a "he's lying I'm innocent" statement from Davis soon.
This investigation should be an interesting one.
