Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been able to enter Dallas' offseason program at full strength. Last offseason he spent the majority of his time rehabbing from the broken ankle he suffered during the 2020 season.
As a result of being at full strength Prescott is feeling very confident heading into the 2022 season. So confident he's telling reporters how confident he is. On Tuesday he said this to reporters.
"I think I'm so much further along than I was at this time last year. My confidence is through the roof."
Confidence is normally a good thing. Unless you're a Cowboys player or fan. This isn't the teams of the 90s. The teams in recent years have had plenty of confidence and when the lights are the brightest they've found a way to shit the bed.
I expect more of the same in 2022. Take that confidence right to a disappointing ending to the season.
