The Cowboys opened their training camp on Wednesday and held their opening press conference where head coach Mike McCarthy talked about quarterback Dak Prescott. According to the head coach, his franchise quarterback is expected to be a full participant.
Prescott is of course coming back from a devastating ankle injury and was kept out of 11-on-11 drills earlier this off-season. Hearing that he's ready to go has to be good news for Cowboys fans.
From Sports Illustrated:
The Dallas Cowboys are unworried but yet planning to “be careful” with a trio of rehabbing starters when training camp begins this week in Oxnard.
But QB Dak Prescott has plowed though “careful.”
Said Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy in Wednesday’s “state of the union” press conference to launch camp here in Oxnard: “I see for him to be a full participant. It’s still a projection. We’ll see how it goes. Obviously, we’ll watch it.”
COO Stephen Jones had said. Dallas would be “careful" with some rehabbing guys, calling the process a “journey.”
There's nothing like the traveling circus that follows the Cowboys around. All the hype, all the flash and a pile of shit on the field. 2021 won't be any different.
