Cooper Kupp is currently one of the best wide receivers in the league. He's coming off of a Super Bowl MVP performance and only has two years left on his contract with the Rams.
If Los Angeles hopes to sign him to a long-term deal they have a limited time to get that done. But, as Kupp recently revealed, the Rams have a few things working for them.
Kupp wants to stay with the Rams and he wants a deal everyone can be happy with.
Via The Athletic:
“I try to help where I can. I don’t want to be in the dark on this thing. I also love this organization. I want to be here for a very long time, and to be doing things with these guys — not just the guys on the field, I want to be a part of this organization (in its) growth and the places I think this organization is going.
And so I want this to be something that makes sense for everyone. I want them to feel good about it, and I think the best way to do that is for me to at least be involved in some capacity. It’s never going to be at the cost of anything on the football field, (but) the more communication, the better, and just be able to find a place we can all feel good.”
This is great news if you're a Rams fan and you want to keep the gang together for a few seasons. The only questions are can Kupp keep playing at this high of a level and can he stay healthy? We shall see.
