BOXING
SJ - September 26, 2020
After a long rant on Twitter about wanting to fight in the UFC, Conor McGregor announced that he was going to be boxing again. His opponent is Manny Pacquiao.
In his rant McGregor provided DM exchanges he had with UFC president Dana White. From the looks of it he wanted to fight, but not as a stand in.
The UFC wanted him to wait for the return of fans.
Anyway all water under the bridge who gives a fook.
I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 25, 2020
People will watch, but McGregor-Pacquiao isn't going to have the same buzz his fight with Floyd Mayweather had.
If he wants to be taken seriously as a boxer McGregor's going to have to win this one.
