Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was traded from the Chiefs to the Dolphins this offseason in one of the many shocking moves. The decision to trade Hill came down to money. He was in the final year of a three-year, $54 million contract with Kansas City and wanted a long-term deal.
Hill talked about wanting to stay in Kansas City on his podcast, "It Needed To Be Said" with his agent Drew Rosenhaus. A teaser clip from the podcast is making the rounds on social media and makes it clear he wanted to stay with the Chiefs. The clip also suggests the Chiefs suppressed his stats to reduce his value.
