Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is being sent home and not coming back before their regular season ends because of comments he made to the media.
He is not at practice, he is not expected to play on Sunday against the Steelers and it is probably because of comments he made to CLEVELAND.COM .
It's a "fuck around and find out" situation that reminds me of what happened to Ronaldo during the World Cup when shit talking Manchester to the media. The people in charge don't like when their paid players, well paid players at that, talk smack or run their mouths.
Some of the things he said were:
“I just feel like I need to be around somebody that believes in me and my ability,”
"There’s supposed to be a lot of changes around here next year, so they might not be back — and I might,”
Clowney was on a one-year contract with the Browns, had 28 tackles this season and will probably not be back. I guess he's leaving up to his name, because getting fired over whining to the media is pretty CLOWNEY.
