Catherine Gurd is the Peach Bowl Girl!

It is safe to say that we are an eye candy loving society, because college football fans collectively fell in love with a Buckeyes supporter at the Peach Bowl and thanks to the internet sleuths putting their energy into things that matter, like identifying hot chicks they see at games, they've determined she's an Xavier University player named Catherine Gurd.

In the olden days, that would be called stalking, but in the era of everyone getting their 15 minutes, it's called digital marketing or journalism and I am all for it.

The funny thing is that during the Ohio vs Georgia game, the cameras only panned on her for a total of 3 seconds. It was enough for the crack team to figure out what they needed to figure out and find the Freshman.

She is studying Biomedical Sciences, so she's more than just piercing blue eyes, she's also a nerd.

She joked about her new name "Peach Bowl Girl" with a new year comes a new name and we're glad it all worked out for everyone.
